The amount of code being thrown at a problem by a normal computer is just breathtaking. Example in point: build a simple Java app. This requires maven, which requires a gazillion plugins, which requires a java runtime, which requires whatever it may, plus an entire operating system. Totally amazing that any of it works (sometimes).
