#Linux server migrations are much simpler with #systemd #containers: 1) setup new server on new disks, 2) add old disks, mount as /oldroot, 3) systemd-nspawn -b -D /oldroot, and then do what you need to do, like mysqldump … > /tmp/foo in container, and mysql < /oldroot/tmp/foo on host.
